Our History
Riley has always loved film and video production. In every home video, little Riley was always asking and reaching for the camera and wanted to be the one filming. Paige grew up with a mom who was a photographer and was used to being around cameras. A few months after they got married in 2012, Riley’s cousin asked if he could film their wedding… 2 days before the big day! Riley agreed and ended up filming it with a camera that was given to them as a wedding gift and didn’t have any kind of stabilization or audio recording equipment! (lol what a way to start!) He ended up putting together a cinematic film for them and they were blown away! After they shared the film across their social networks, Riley got 11 couples asking if he could film their weddings! At this time, both Riley and Paige had full-time jobs but decided that this little side hustle could be a lot of fun! So they decided to get a business license and see where this thing went. That was 9 years ago and since then they have acquired top-of-the-line equipment, built a team, been featured in many wedding magazines and blogs, and have traveled across the USA filming over 130 weddings. They love helping people keep their treasured wedding memories and feel so blessed to be a part of every single wedding.

Ever since I was 12 years old, I have been fascinated by the way film and movies can capture emotion, communicate messages and in some cases take your breath away. I love that I get to make films for a living and I always want to get better at this craft.Besides video, I love surfing, exploring the world with my wife and business partner Paige and hanging out with our dog Richard Branson (named after the great Sir Richard Branson).

Heres a few things about me:
I LOVE working alongside my husband, Riley in creating films of all kinds! We started Articulate Film Co. one year after we got married and have been loving the chance to work together. Confession: I tear up at almost every wedding that we film, it doesn't matter whether we have known the couple for years or have only gotten to know them through a few pre-wedding meetings. It's usually the father-daughter dance that gets me going. When I am not filming weddings you can find me exploring and adventuring this beautiful world with my hubby. We love to travel in usually end up in Costa Rica.

Hey Everyone!
I’m stoked to be a part of the Articulate Film Co. team!My dad was a wedding photographer and when I was a kid I loved looking through all of his film photos, it was there my love for all things camera began! In High School I got my first DSLR camera began taking photos with friends and made short videos of hiking trips and any adventure I went on.I have always been a sentimental person and I love all sorts of keepsakes. I believe in preserving memories and I think film captures emotion in way that can’t be replicated.Besides photo and video I love Jesus, hanging out with people, coffee, hiking and playing guitar!
